Great product ads
Here, i'm looking at some great product ads. In other words, telling what the brand wants to tell, in a way consumers can stomach hearing it. First up, that subtle blend of wines and spices. Yup, it's Cinzano.
Often, great product ads dramatize one great product fact in an entertaining way. The emotional proposition is delivered by the way the story is told. Recent winner at Cannes in the alcoholic drinks section shows this perfectly, by talking about the great purity of the Tasmanian water that goes into Boag's beer.
A classic product ad, adressing one key product benefit - colour, like no other.
Another great one, and the winner of the Cannes Grand Prix this year is for Phillips cinema home television. Watch it here, or for the full interactive experience, go here.

Irish Whisk(e)y
Nice puff piece in the Guardian about Bushmills Whiskey, who clearly paid for this journalists trip to the distillery. But a good feeling of the brand. Particularly liked the 'wonka like pipes'. Link here

IT'S ALL IN THE BLEND
BELLS whisky shows the value of blending...
Another take on blending, 'great collaborations' the fantasy football approach. This ad from the BBC shows a fantasy band line-up
